National — CBSE
The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and follows the All India Curriculum and Examination as prescribed by the Board under the 10+2 system of education, with Science, Commerce and Humanities streams at the senior secondary level.
Curriculum is the driving force of any institution's educational activity. It defines what and how much students should learn at every stage for easy assimilation and application of knowledge. At IPS, formal classroom teaching is supplemented with a plethora of informal academic activities where students freely express, explore and learn from each other.
Stages of learning
- Blooming Buds (Pre-Nursery – KG) — school-readiness through play, stories, art, music and early literacy and numeracy.
- Initiators (Class I – VIII) — strong foundations in languages, mathematics, science and social science, with activity-based learning.
- Accelerators (Class IX – XII) — board preparation, streams of Science, Commerce and Humanities, and competitive-exam guidance.
International pathways
International Public School is approved by the University of Cambridge as a Cambridge International School, preparing learners for Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE and AS & A Level courses. Students may also choose the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
The ideal teacher–student ratio paves the way for individual attention to every pupil in the formative years — each teacher is a guide and a facilitator in the evolution of children into global citizens.
